Deutschland

Germany will always have a special place in my heart- it was to there that I ventured abroad for the first time, traveled by plane, plus two amazing exchanges (in 2012 and 2014) where I met so many lovely people.

We were based in a smallish town to the south of Munich, and we did a lot, skiing, swimming, castles, a (daunting) day in the German school, bowling, shopping and ... a cheese factory. By the end of the trip we had plans to pool our resources, buy our own Käserei and live in Germany forever, however sadly that plan didn't materialise. But we can dream.

This picture is from like two years ago, but I wanted to include it because there was basically no snow this year, and also it looks a bit more professional than the rest of my pictures. Cough selfies cough. Seriously, you have no idea how many selfies I had to sift through to get a halfway decent blogpost. Anyway, enjoy Germany in pictures :)

I'm sorry that was very picture heavy, and very grainy iPhone picture heavy, but oh well! I had a great time and I seriously can't wait for the Germans to come to England in July. If you ever get the chance to do a foreign exchange I would recommend it so much - its a great way to meet new friends and improve your language skills. Now hopefully I can do this German A-Level thing...
